Holymoorside Craft Group

Holymoorside Craft Group meet every Wednesday in the Committee Room at the Village Hall, 2pm to 4pm, from the beginning of September to the end of May each year.

It is an informal group and no tuition takes place, except for help being given when anyone wants it.

People who come do all sorts of crafts including card making, knitting, patchwork, embroidery, mending/altering clothes, and any project that you may have on hand at the time. We natter quite a bit and set the world to rights, lunch out occasionally (though this is not compulsory), have a Christmas end of term nibbles etc.

Sometimes our members bring in a cake when it is their birthday. As we just cover the cost of the room hire, tea/coffee and milk most of the members just give a sum (usually £10) at the beginning of each term, with any more being collected if necessary, we do, however, have a weekly charge if someone prefers of £2 each week attending.
